Furthermore, I devote my time to offering therapy sessions in my own private practice, dealing with various emotional and behavioural issues and relationship problems experienced by adults.
I am passionate about walking alongside the client on their journey though self-reflection and self-discovery in order to create a pathway of self-awareness for their recovery.
Areas of Interest:
I have a keen interest in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and have worked extensively with Depression, Bipolar Mood Disorder, self-harm, suicidal ideation, bereavement, people struggling with adjustments and various types of anxiety disorders such as Panic Attacks, Social Anxiety and Generalised Anxiety Disorder.

I also have experience in working with addictions and group therapy. I have a special interest in sexual trauma and have published a book called “Surviving Rape” which explores the efficacies of a Rape Crisis Counselling Course offered to impart skills to rape counsellors in Cape Town.
